U.S. businesses can now convert points earned on everyday ACH and card payments into Avios at a 1:1 rate and redeem them for flights from across the U.S. to London, including business class
DALLAS, Nov. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- PayRewards, a rewards-first bill payments and accounts payable platform for U.S. businesses, today announced the addition of British Airways' loyalty currency, Avios, to its points transfer network. The partnership gives American business owners a new way to fly transatlantic using the payments they already make. Customers can now transfer points earned on business payments, including ACH and credit card payments, into Avios at a 1:1 rate.
Redeeming Avios with British Airways
As the loyalty currency of airlines including British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus, Avios enables millions of customers to collect rewards across a broad ecosystem of travel, retail and financial services partners, helping turn everyday spending into meaningful rewards. Avios can be redeemed on flights, holidays and experiences, helping to make travel more affordable.
With guaranteed reward seats on every British Airways flight, customers can redeem Avios across all cabins, from World Traveller (economy) to Club World (business class), with one-way flights from 27,500 Avios + £75 in taxes and charges.*
British Airways flies nonstop to London from 27 U.S. cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Boston, Washington, D.C. and PayRewards' home city of Dallas. On those routes, customers can enjoy the airline's premium cabins and service, including Club World (business class) seats with fully flat beds and, on many aircraft, the airline's award-winning Club Suite with a private door and direct aisle access. From London, travelers can connect onward across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
Avios can also be redeemed with partner airlines across the oneworld alliance, including American Airlines. Avios joins Cathay Pacific Asia Miles and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer as PayRewards transfer partners, with more partners to come.
Earning Rewards on Everyday Business Payments
Vendor payments made by ACH typically earn no rewards, even though they make up a large share of what a business spends each year. PayRewards lets businesses earn points on routine payments such as rent, utilities, taxes and vendor invoices, whether they pay by ACH or credit card. When a business pays by card, it keeps its card's existing rewards and earns PayRewards points on top.
"American business owners pay trillions of dollars in accounts payable each year, and much of it earns nothing," said Blake Hutchison, CEO, PayRewards. "We help them earn on all of it. With Avios as a partner, the rent, inventory and vendor invoices an owner already pays could become a lie-flat business class seat on a nonstop flight to London, whether the trip is to win new business in Europe or to take the vacation they have earned."
PayRewards expects to announce additional airline and hotel transfer partners in December.
PayRewards launched in the U.S. in August 2026 and is backed by US$28 million in Series E funding. Its parent company, Pay.com.au, is a leading business rewards platform in Australia and has processed more than US$7 billion in business payments for more than 30,000 businesses over the past 12 months.
