How a Fort Collins Whole-Home Remodel Won a 2026 Chrysalis Award
Fort Collins, United States - October 17, 2026 / Artisan Remodeling & Design /
FORT COLLINS, Colo., Oct. 15, 2026 – Artisan Remodeling & Design has received a 2026 Chrysalis Award for Remodeling Excellence, making it the only Fort Collins company honored this year and one of just four in Colorado. The firm's English Ranch whole-home remodel won the Regional Award in the Residential Interior $150,000 to $300,000 category for the West region, which covers 15 states.
Held since 1993, the Chrysalis Awards are judged, not voted. Projects from professional remodelers across the country are evaluated on design, improvement to the home, use of materials and how well they solved real challenges. Only 69 companies nationwide were honored in 2026, and winners were featured in Qualified Remodeler, the national remodeling trade magazine, in print and online.
Artisan is also the first new Fort Collins company to join the Chrysalis Awards' list of winners in more than 20 years.
The winning project transformed a home in Fort Collins' English Ranch neighborhood. The homeowners had bought it online, from out of state, without ever walking through it. Artisan opened the wall between the kitchen and great room, built a custom arched white oak pantry door with reeded glass, turned a spare bedroom into a custom closet and added a mudroom built for a busy family.
"The homeowners told us right from the beginning that if they didn't absolutely love their new home, they'd sell it. So we had our work cut out for us! But they also gave us the freedom to get really creative, and I think the results speak for themselves. Our incredibly talented lead designer, DeaAnna Beaty, did an amazing job, and our construction team delivered the exceptional craftsmanship to match. Having this project recognized alongside some of the best remodelers in the West is such an honor for our entire team," said Sarah Bilbro, co-owner of Artisan Remodeling & Design.
