VILNIUS, Lithuania, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Outcraft AI, maker of AI SDR software for inbound leads, today announced a per-lead pricing model for its AI SDR platform. Under the new structure, businesses pay one monthly price based on the number of inbound leads the AI actually engages, starting at $300 per month for up to 100 leads. Every plan includes unlimited seats and every channel the platform supports. The company serves customers in the United States, Europe and Australia.
The change moves Outcraft AI away from the two billing models that dominate the AI sales agent category: per-seat licenses, common among sales engagement tools, and per-minute call rates, common among voice AI platforms. The company said the aim is to tie its price to the work the agents do rather than to the size of a customer's team or the length of a phone call.
The announcement follows the company's €2 million pre-seed round in April 2026, led by Practica Capital, and comes as more sales teams evaluate AI SDR tools as a way to handle inbound demand around the clock, and as the AI SDR category itself splits between outbound prospecting tools and inbound response tools.

Speed to lead: the market context for AI SDR tools

Interest in AI SDR software has grown as sales teams look for ways to answer inbound inquiries faster without adding headcount. Fortune Business Insights valued the global artificial intelligence market at $294.16 billion in 2025 and projects it will reach $2,480.05 billion by 2034, a compound annual growth rate of 26.6 percent. Sales and marketing is one of the business functions the firm tracks within that figure.

Response time is an older problem than the technology now being sold to fix it. A study published in Harvard Business Review in 2011, which audited how 2,241 U.S. companies handled web-generated leads, found that firms that attempted contact within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to have a meaningful conversation with a decision maker as those that waited even one hour longer, and more than 60 times as likely as companies that waited 24 hours or more. Most of the companies audited took longer than an hour, and many never followed up at all.

The gap has a simple cause. Leads arrive at all hours, sales representatives work fixed shifts, and the follow-up that does happen tends to come from whoever has time that day. Outcraft AI's position is that this handoff, rather than a shortage of demand, is where most inbound revenue is lost, and that an inbound AI SDR is the practical fix.

How Outcraft AI's inbound AI SDR software works

The Outcraft AI SDR connects to a company's CRM, e-commerce platform or billing system and watches for the moments that normally trigger a follow-up: a web form submission, a demo request, a chat or WhatsApp message, an inbound call, an abandoned checkout, a failed payment. When one of those events occurs, the AI SDR contacts the person on whichever channel fits the situation — a phone call, a text message, an email or a WhatsApp message — and keeps the conversation going until it books a meeting, completes a purchase, or hands the lead to a person along with a record of what was said.

The company draws a distinction between this and the sequencing tools most sales teams already run. A sequence sends the next message on a schedule. Outcraft AI's AI SDR reads the reply, decides whether to call, text or email next, and treats each branch of the conversation as an outcome rather than a scheduled send. If a call goes unanswered, the agent can move to a text; if the text gets a question, it can answer by email or pick the phone back up.

On the phone, the AI SDR holds a live conversation rather than reading a script. It answers product questions, works through objections and adjusts to what the caller says, in more than 40 languages and regional dialects. The company reports a median first response time of under 30 seconds and says the AI SDR runs around the clock, including nights, weekends and holidays.

AI lead qualification and appointment setting

Before a lead reaches a sales representative, the AI SDR asks up to seven qualifying questions and writes the answers into the CRM, so the representative opens the record with the lead's budget, timeline and use case already filled in. The AI SDR then books, confirms or reschedules meetings directly in the representatives' calendars, following routing rules the customer sets — by territory, product line or account size.

The same workflow covers what happens after a meeting is booked. If a prospect does not show up for a demo, the AI SDR follows up and offers a new time. If a free trial is about to expire without activity, it reaches out before the account lapses. Outcraft AI reports on each of these as an outcome — booked, recovered or lost — rather than as an activity count, and breaks the numbers down by channel and by week.

AI sales agent for e-commerce: cart and payment recovery

For online retailers and subscription businesses, the platform runs a different set of triggers on the same engine. When a shopper abandons a checkout, the AI SDR can call or message them to finish the order. When a subscription payment fails, it contacts the customer to update the card before the account is canceled. After a purchase, it can follow up with a relevant upsell or a re-order prompt.

The company said these recovery flows use the same per-lead pricing as its B2B workflows: an abandoned cart or a failed payment that the agent engages counts as one lead, and one that it never touches does not count at all.

AI SDR pricing: what the per-lead model costs

The new rate card is built on monthly volume bands. The entry band is $300 per month for up to 100 inbound leads, or $3.00 per lead. The effective price falls at each step: $2.00 per lead at 1,000 leads a month, $1.36 at 2,500, and under $1.00 from roughly 4,000 leads a month. Above 10,000 leads per month, pricing is set on a custom committed rate that adds a security review, custom terms and a named solutions engineer.

A lead is counted only when the AI SDR has engaged it. Contacts sitting in a database that the AI SDR never touches do not count toward the band. If a customer exceeds its band in a given month, service continues without interruption and the account moves to the next band on the following invoice; the company said it flags the change before it lands. Accounts can move back down the month after a seasonal spike.

There is no setup fee, no per-user charge and no minimum term. Plans are billed monthly and can be canceled at any time. Calls, SMS, email and WhatsApp are included at every band, with no premium channels or paid add-ons. The company said most teams have the AI SDR live within a day of connecting their CRM.

What every AI SDR plan includes

  • Instant response across web forms, chat, WhatsApp and inbound calls, 24 hours a day
  • Lead qualification and handoff to the CRM
  • Multi-touch follow-up across channels until the lead replies, books or opts out
  • Recovery flows for abandoned carts, failed payments and no-show demos
  • Live calendar booking with routing rules
  • Outcome reporting by channel and by week: booked, recovered and lost
  • Unlimited seats for the whole revenue team on every AI SDR plan

Integrations, security and availability

The Outcraft AI SDR integrates natively with more than 20 platforms, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Shopify and Stripe, and sits on top of the tools a company already runs rather than replacing them. The company lists SOC 2 and HIPAA certification as in progress. The pricing page carries a volume slider that returns an indicative monthly price; the company asks prospective customers to share their previous month's lead count so it can quote the correct band. Full details are available at outcraft.ai, where a free plan can be opened without a credit card. The AI SDR platform holds a 4.8 rating on the software review site G2.

AI SDR setup follows five steps, according to the company: connect the CRM or commerce stack, choose the moments the AI SDR should act on, set the logic or let the agent decide the next best action, let it reach out by voice, SMS, email or WhatsApp, and review the results as meetings booked, revenue recovered and customers retained. Because the platform works on top of the existing stack, nothing has to be rebuilt before the first conversations start, and there is no implementation project to fund up front.

Frequently asked questions about AI SDR software

What is an AI SDR?

An AI SDR is software that performs the tasks of a sales development representative — responding to leads, asking qualifying questions, following up and booking meetings — using AI agents instead of a person. Most AI SDR tools focus on outbound email. Outcraft AI's AI SDR is built for inbound: it acts on leads a company has already generated, across phone, SMS, email and WhatsApp.

How much does AI SDR software cost?

Prices in the category range from a few hundred dollars a month for email-only tools to several thousand for autonomous platforms sold on annual contracts. Outcraft AI's per-lead model starts at $300 a month for up to 100 inbound leads and falls to under $1.00 per lead above roughly 4,000 leads a month, with no per-seat fee.

Can an AI SDR make phone calls?

Some can. Outcraft AI's AI SDR places and receives real phone calls, holds a live conversation, handles objections and books a meeting on the call, then continues by text, email or WhatsApp if the call is missed. Calls are included in every plan at no extra charge. You can hear a real conversation here

How fast does the AI SDR respond to a new lead?

Outcraft AI reports that its AI SDR gives a median first response of under 30 seconds after a form fill, chat message, inbound call or abandoned checkout, at any hour.

Does the AI SDR work for e-commerce as well as B2B?

Yes. The same AI SDR platform runs abandoned-cart recovery, failed-payment recovery and post-purchase follow-up for online stores and subscription businesses, priced per engaged lead in the same way as B2B inbound workflows.

Company comment

"Most of the companies we talk to are not short of leads. They are short of hours in the day to answer them," said Will Nauseda, chief executive and co-founder of Outcraft AI. "Charging per lead means a customer's bill only goes up when the AI SDR is doing more work. It does not change when they add people to the team."

Speaking at the time of the company's funding round earlier this year, Nauseda said the company was "not building another sales tool or engagement platform," but agents that carry customer conversations through to a result.
